Brian Loar drives the #09 Late Model Class car.  His home track is Southern Speedway but he can also be found racing at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex and Portsmouth Raceway Park.  He lives in Jackson, OH.

Brian started racing in 1992 in the Go Karts Class at 35 Raceway because he loved the speed.  His first win was in 1994 in the 4 Cylinder at 35 Raceway.  Career highlights include finishing 6th in the Points in Late Models during his first year in this class. 

The thrill of racing for Brian is the speed and meeting new people.  His most exciting racing moment was his first Heat race win in a Late Model.  He's most proud of just being able to race and having fun.

Brian's racing hero is Wendell Wallace.

Of racing, Brian says, "Just do what you can and never spend more than you can afford.  Remember, it's just a sport for fun!".
