David Darnell

David Darnell drives the #28 B-mini class car. He lives in Cleveland, South Carolina. His home track is Anderson Motor Speedway. He can also be seen at Riverside and Jefferson.

David began racing in 1991 in the Mini's following a family tradition. His first win was in 1992 at Anderson Motor Speedway.  Career highlights for David include: 1998 A-Mini Champ ( 11 wins, 13 Seconds, 5 Thirds... did not finish out of top 3 all season.) and 2001 A-Mini Champ.

The thrill of racing for David is the competition. His most exhilarating moment  was winning for the first time. His entire family was there and they had all worked hard for it.   He is most proud of his reputation for clean, hard racing ( but he will return the favor if needed).

David's racing hero is Butch Darnell, his brother.
