Brian Powell Sr. drives the #43 Renegade Class car.  He lives in Anderson, SC.  His home track is Anderson Motor Speedway.

He started racing in 1986 in the Rookie Class at Anderson Motor Speedway because his brother-in-law, Ricky Brown, raced.  His first win was in 1988 in the Rookie Class at Anderson Motor Speedway.  Brian has won 2 Rookie Championships and 30 or more wins.

The thrill of racing for Brian is winning, having fun and always thanking God for all.  His most exciting racing moment was the win his Dad saw.  He's most proud that his Dad saw him win before he passed away. 

Brian's racing hero is Ricky Brown.

Of racing, Brian says, "Always thank God for your wins.  Without Him we have nothing.  He's my co-pilot!".
