Ricky Jones drives the #72 Stock 8 Class car.  He lives in Spartanburg, SC.  His home track is Buffalo Speedway and Harris Speedway.

Ricky's #72 car is the blue Chevy.

He started racing in 1999 in the Stock 8 Class at Harris Speedway after watching racing for 5 years and wanted to do it.  He's finished 2nd at Buffalo and 5th in the Points at Harris in 2000. 

The thrill of racing for Ricky is the speed!  His most exhilarating racing moment was winning a Heat at Harris Speedway when his wife's uncle watched for his last time prior to losing his battle with cancer.  Ricky is most proud of the 5th Place finish in the Points at Harris Speedway.

Tom Smith, the #007 at Riverside is Ricky's racing hero.

Of racing, Ricky says, "It is fun but hard!".
