Michael Lawson drives the #84 Street Stock 4 Class car. He lives in Pauline, SC. His home track is Buffalo Speedway, but he can also be found racing at Cherokee, Harris and SugarCreek.

Crew members and others who have helped include,  his Uncle, David Lawson, his Father, Darrell Lawson. Brother, Kris Lawson, Chris Pettit, his fiancee', April Suttles, his daughter, Destiny Lawson and his son Dylan Lawson.

He began racing in the Rookie class in 1998 at Buffalo Speedway, because "it is fast and legal".  He got his first win in 1999 in the rookie class at Buffalo, SC.

The thrill of racing for Michael is driving fast.  His greatest thrill was his first win and flipping his car in hot laps.

In 2001, he had 5 wins and a track champion.  Other highlights include 13 wins, second place in points champion and one track championship.

Tony Stewart is his racing hero.
