Bubba Smith

Bubba Smith drives the #28 Rookie 4 Class car.  He lives in York, SC.  His home track is Buffalo Speedway but he can also be found racing at Lancaster and Chester.

He started racing in 2001 in the Rookie 4 Class at Lancaster Speedway because it was a family tradition.  His first win was in 2003 in the Rookie 4 Class at Buffalo Speedway. 

The thrill of racing for Bubba is the banging.  He's most proud of his first win and 2nd place in the 2002 Shrine Race at Lancaster Speedway. 

Of racing, Bubba says, "You gotta know when to go!".
