Wayne Huggins drives the #16 Charger Class car.  He lives in Mullins, SC.  His home track is Carolina Speedway.

He started racing in 1995 in the Charger Class at Carolina Speedway and Florence Speedway.  Two weeks before he was 15, he and his father, who also raced, built a car for Wayne.  His first win was that same year.  In addition to 2 wins in 1995, he had 5 wins in 2003.

The thrill of racing for Wayne is that he loves it.  His most exciting racing moment is all the time......he just loves the feel of being in the car.  He's most proud that he and his father have built and fix his car so it will run good and it makes Wayne's father proud of Wayne.

Wayne's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Wayne says, "It is a fun sport and I enjoy the thrill of being behind the wheel!".
