Mike Manes drives the #17 Charger Class car.  His home track is Carolina Speedway - Lake View.  He lives in Galivants Ferry, SC.

Mike started racing in 1998 in the Hobby Stock Class at 34 Raceway because it was a family tradition.  His first win was in '01 in the Charger Class at 34 Raceway.  Career highlights include Track Championship in '03 at 34 Raceway.

The thrill of racing for Mike is the fun of it.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win, of which he's most proud.

Mike's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
