John Charles drives the #20 Rookie Class car.  His home track is Carolina Speedway - Lakeview.  He lives in Conway, SC.

John started racing in 1984 in the Hobby Class at Lancaster Speedway.  His first win was in 2008 in the Rookie Class at Carolina Speedway.  Career highlights include finishing 2nd in the Points in his Rookie year at Carolina Speedway.

The thrill of racing for John is gassing it up. 

John's racing hero is Tony Stewart.

Of racing, John says, "Do it in the dirt.  Dirt is for racing.  Asphalt is for getting there!".
