Ricky Taylor drives the #29 4 Cylinder Stock class car. He lives in Laurinburg, North Carolina.  His home track is Carolina Speedway. People who help Ricky are:  Ronnie Greene, Bruce Quick and Sandy Greene.

Ricky began racing in 1972 in the Rookie Class at Fayetteville Speedway after growing up watching his father race.  Ricky Taylor won the 2004 track Championship at Carolina Speedway at Lakeview.

The thrill of racing for him is going the limit. His most exhilarating moment was when he raced his brother, crossing the finish line side by side. He is most proud of his Championship and competitiveness.

Of racing, Ricky says,  " Sponsor racers, it's a competitive sport!".

His racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
