Mark Smith drives the #30 Rookie Class car.  He lives in Laurinburg, NC.  His Home Track is Carolina Speedway.

Mark's #30 car is the black and orange Chevy Firebird.

He started racing in 2003 in the Rookie Class because he's always been a fan and its always been a dream.  Career highlights include winning two Track Championships, as a car owner, in 1997-98.

The thrill of racing for Mark is the competition and having fun.  He's most proud of finishing 5th in his first race.

Robert Yates is Mark's racing hero.

Of racing, Mark simply says, "I love it!".
