Joe Ward drives the #31 Super Street Class car.  Joe is from Lake View, SC. His home track is Carolina Speedway. 

Joe started racing in 1992 in the Hobby Stock class, then advanced to the  Charger class and then the New Super Street class at the dirt Carolina Speedway.  He went to the dirt track once and within the next week he had a car built.  Joe's first win was in 1995 in the Hobby Stock Class.  

Joe won 14 times in the Charger Class.  The thrill of racing is the Speed!  His greatest thrill was winning his first race.  The greatest racing moment was when he took the checkered flag!

Bill Elliot in Nascar Winston Cup is Joe's racing hero.
