Butch Segler drives the #3B Super Street Stock Class car.  His home track is Carolina Speedway but he can also be found racing at Fayetteville Speedway.  He lives in Hope Mills, NC.  Butch builds the car, engine, etc. himself.

He started racing in 2004 in the Super Street Stock Class at Carolina Lake View Speedway because he loved speed and cars.  He's had lots of wins at Fayetteville as the car builder and owner. 

The thrill of racing for Butch is the speed.  His most exciting racing moment was finishing 3rd.  He's most proud of being able to make an old Camero turn left.

Butch was the 2005 Carolina Speedway Super Street Champion.

Butch's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Butch says, "Racing is like a drug, if you start, you have a hard time quitting!".
