Kris Shumate drives the #55 4 Cyl Class car.  His home track is Carolina Speedway but he can also be found racing at 311 Speedway.  He lives in Southport, NC.

Team members helping Kris are:  Zip and Skip Whiznant.  Bobby Farmer is the car owner.

Kris started racing in 2009 in the 4 Cyl Class at Carolina Speedway for fun.  He had raced Go Karts since the age of 8 at Oak Level Speedway, State Line Speedway, several wins, 2nd in Points 1 year at Caswell County Speedway.  His first win was in '07 in the Go Kart class at Caswell County Speedway.
