Ronnie began racing in 1996 in the Charger
class at Carolina Speedway because: "I felt the need for speed, fun, and
excitement in a family atmosphere."
Career highlights for Ronnie include:
Third place finish in points-Charger class- 1997 and 6th place finish this
year in Limited Late Model racing ( this is only his second year racing in
LLM). The thrill of racing for Ronnie is: "Driving by my shirttail...
acting natural."
His most exhilarating moment was starting
his first race from the pole. He is most proud of his relationship with
his fans and friends. He would like to tell people about racing: " Have
fun racing but keep your priorities in order... feed the family, pay
bills, then race."
Ronnie's racing hero is #3 Dale Earnhardt.
