Mark Gore drives the #77 4 Cyl. Stock Class car.  He lives in Conway, SC.  Mark's home track is Carolina Speedway.  Mark's #77 car is the Orange Ford Mustang, 2340 cc engine.

Mark started racing in 1984 in the 6 Cyl Class at Conway Speedway.  He's always been around racing and had an uncle that raced, so it was natural for him to start racing.  His first win was in 1985 in the 6 Cyl. Class at Carolina Speedway.  In 2001 he won 12 out of 21 races at Carolina Speedway.   Mark started back racing in 2000 after taking a few years off.  He ran 12 races, won 5, 5 seconds and 2 thirds.

The thrill of racing for Mark is that it is a lot of fun and keeps him out of trouble.  His greatest racing thrill was starting back racing and doing well after being out of it for a while.  His greatest racing moment is winning!

Mark's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
