David Long

David Long drives the #7 Charger Class car.  He lives in Tabor City, NC.  His home track is Carolina Speedway.

He started racing in 1988 in the Street Stock Class at Myrtle Beach Speedway because he never remembers a day of his life that he wasn't a race car driver.  His first win was in 1988 in the Street Stock Class at 4 Way Raceway.

The thrill of racing for David is the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was his first race in a race car.  He's most proud of doing all of his own car prep......painting, engine set up etc. himself.

David's racing hero is Davey Allison.
