Gibson Murray Jr. drives the #M13 Pony Stock Class car.  His home track is Carolina Speedway - Lakeview but he can also be found racing all over South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama.  He lives in Whiteville, NC.

Team members helping Gibson are:  Brew Racing (Greg, Wilbur and Pete).  Murray Racing is the car owner.

Gibson started racing in 2003 in the Mini Stock Class at Sumter Speedway.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include over 20 wins in '03 and '04. 

The thrill of racing for Gibson is going fast and turning left.  His most exciting racing moment was winning several big 4 cyl races.  He's most proud of being able to compete at the highest level.

Gibson's racing hero is Bobby Allison.

Of racing, Gibson says, "It's the most fun in 15 laps that you can have.  It's the most powerful drug alive!".
