Skip Whisnant drives the 15  4cyl  Class car.  Skip lives in Boiling Springs Lake, NC.  His home track is Carolina Speedway and he also can be found at Coastal Plains.

Skip started racing in 2000 in the Stock 4 cyl Class at Fireball Park.  His family loves racing and it allows him to be competitive.  His first win was in 2000 in the 4 cyl stock class.  In 2001 he moved to the 4 cyl Modified Class.  He started last and finished 3rd in his first race on dirt.  He won 9 races and Track Championship at Fireball Roberts Park in 2000.  He won 4 races in 2002 in the Modified 4 division.

The thrill of racing for Skip is winning!  His greatest thrill was passing his brother on last lap for the win!  Skips' greatest racing moment was winning 3rd start in Modified 4 Division.
