C. Peter Pope drives the #84 Formula Enterprises Class car.  His home track is Road Atlanta but he can also be found racing at Carolina Motorsports Park.  He lives in Hickory, NC.

Team members helping Peter are:  Michael Bacola (Master Race Mechanic). 

Peter started racing in 1990 in the SCCA Poshill Class at Road Atlanta because it had been a childhood dream since visiting Indy 500 as a boy.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include driving in Rolex 24 Hour Race, Qualified Outside Pole in GT 1, winning SARRC South Atlantic Road Racing Championship.

The thrill of racing for Peter is testing his personal limits.  "I am no kid...I am competitive against kids!".  His most exciting racing moment was hitting the wall backwards in turn 5 at Atlanta.  He's most proud of qualifying for the Outside Pole at Rolex 24 Hour!

Peter's racing hero is Juan Pablo Montoya.

Of racing, Peter says, "Bull fighting, mountain climbing, race car driving are the only three sports, the rest are only games!!!".
