Brent Parker drives the #08 Renegade Class car. HE lives in  Kings Mt. N.C. His home track is  the Cherokee Speedway but he can also be found racing at Thunder Valley.

He started racing in 2003 in Super Stock 8  at Thunder Valley Speedway in Lawndale, N. C. Gene Davis gave him the chance to race. He and  Brent rebuilt Gene's old car and they went racing.  Career highlights include, 2 Heat Race wins, Two 2nd Place and  four 3rd Place at Cherokee Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Brent is winning  and also the first lap of the race, which is always the most interesting on dirt. His most exciting racing moment was when he parked his car on top of the guardrail at Thunder Valley in 2003, was "kinda scarey". He is most proud of  what he has done this year at Cherokee. He got 2 Heat Race wins, two 2nd place in Main Events,  four 3rds top 5 finishing. Right now he is  third in Points.

His racing hero is Freddy Smith (5 time World Dirt Champ-Kings Mt. N.C.)
