Rick is from some where in NC.  His home track Is Cherokee Super Speedway he also races at Thunder Valley.  he began racing in 1979 in a Street Stock at Harris Speedway. He got his first checkered flag at Thunder Valley in 1980 in a Street Stock.

Rick has won 8 Cherokee Super Late Model track championships. He has won in Hav-a-tampa, Southern All Stars, and the Carolina Clash. In 2001 he got 22 wins.

The speed and the competition is the thrill of racing for Rick Winning the Hav-a-Tampa. He rates being able to get to this level his greatest racing accomplishment.
