Jimmy McCormick drives the #15 Super Late Model Class car.  His home track is Cherokee Super Speedway but he can also be found racing at 311 Speedway and Wytheville Speedway.  He lives in Dobson, NC.

Team members helping Jimmy are:  Mama, Daddy, Chase, Wilford, Lindsay, Larry, Brad, Brian, and Herbert. 

Jimmy started racing in 1986 in the Mod Six at Friendship Speedway because of his love of speed.  His first win was in 1988 in the Super Six at Friendship Speedway.  Career highlights include 2 Track Championships at Friendship Speedway and Most Popular Driver two years.

The thrill of racing for Jimmy is that he still loves it after all this time.  His most exciting racing moment was in Charlotte NC 2004 his first flip and first pole at that same track.  He's most proud of being voted Most Popular Driver two years.

Jimmy's racing hero is Richard Petty.

Of racing, Jimmy says, "Keep family close.  Son is starting racing cars this year.  My family is always with me!".
