Scottie Thornton drives the #T15 Super Stock 4 Class car.  His home track is Volunteer Speedway.  He lives in Newport, TN.

Team members helping Scottie are:  Dennis Williamson and Lanny James.

Scottie started racing in 2001 in the 4 Cyl Class at Volunteer Speedway because of friends.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include Rookie of the Year in 2001.

The thrill of racing for Scottie is going side by side for the win.  His most exciting racing moment is he and a good friend racing together. He's most proud of the wins. 

Scottie's racing hero is Jeff Gordon.
