Erik Summey drives the #21 Street Stock 4 Class car.  His home track is Harris Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Cherokee Super Speedway.  He lives in Cliffside, NC.

Team members helping Erik are:  Terry McGill, Todd McCraw, Randy Stephens, Wayne Laws, Ronnie Morgan.  Todd Summey is the car owner.

Erik started racing in1986 in the Street Stock 4 Class at Cherokee Super Speedway because his brother was racing.  Career highlights include winning the Pumpkin Race at Harris Motor Speedway and leading the Big Race at Cherokee Super Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Erik is winning and out running your friends for bragging rights!  He's most proud of his first win.

Erik's racing hero is his brother, Todd Summey.

Of racing, Erik says, "It's a hard road baby!  You get out of it what you put into it!".
