Scott Dameron

Scott Dameron drives the #24 Street Stock 4 Class car.  He lives in Landrum, SC.  His home track is Cherokee Speedway.

He started racing in 1998 in the Street Stock 4 Class at Cherokee Speedway because his dad and uncle raced at Cherokee Speedway for years.  His first win was in that same year. 

The thrill of racing for Scott is the speed and the fun of it.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win.  He's most proud of building cars and motors by himself.

Every race car driver is Scott's racing hero.

Of racing, Scott says, "Racing is expensive but fun!".
