Gene C. Davis

Gene C. Davis drive the #40+ Limited Sportsman Class car. He lives in  Kings Mt. N.C. His home track is Cherokee Speedway but he can also be found racing at Thunder Valley.

He started racing  in 1986 in Enduro Class at Carolina. His cousins J. R. and Roger Davis raced in Gastonia and  Gene liked it. His first win was in 1989 n Stock 8 at Thunder Valley. Career highlights include 1 win and alot of second and third place. Alot of Heat Race wins,2nd Place in Points at Thunder Valley in 1991.

The thrill of racing for Gene is just that he and  his family all enjoy racing and he one day hopes to see his younger boy race.. The most exciting racing moment  for gene  was racing Enduro  Race at Carolina Speedway-100 laps. He is most proud of the whole family.

Gene's racing hero is JR Davis from Kings Mt. N.C.

 Of racing, Gene says, "I have met a lot of good and friendly people racing-there are alot of God loving people."
