Kris Lawson drives the #51 Young Guns Class car.  His home track is Sugar Creek Speedway but he can also be found racing at Buffalo Speedway, Harris Motor Speedway and Cherokee Super Speedway.  He lives in Pauline, SC.

Team members helping Kris are:  Michael Lawson, Darrell Lawson, Teresa Lawson, David Lawson, April Suttles, Tyler Felmet, Jimmy Felmet, Dallas Miller, Dallas Miller Jr., Destiney Lawson and Dylan Lawson.  Darrell and Teresa Lawson are the car owners.

Kris started racing in 2005 in the Young Guns Class at Buffalo Speedway because he'd always wanted to and his brother Michael and Jeremy Clements raced and he'd watched them.  His first win was that same year. 

Career highlights include Points Champion for 2005 at Sugar Creek Speedway and winning the Shrine Race for 2005 at Sugar Creek Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Kris is going fast.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win at the age of 14.  He's most proud of 10 wins in his first year of racing.

Kris's racing heroes are his brother, Michael Lawson and Jeremy Clements.
