Duke Bare drives the #52 Limited
Sportsman, Street Stock 8 and Pure Stock 4 Class cars. His home
track is Wythe Raceway, but he can also be found racing at Rural Retreat
Antioch Speedway, Cherokee Speedway and Volunteer Speedway. He lives
in Meadowview, VA. People who help Duke are: Pie Short, Danny
Bland, Sam Keith, Paulene Thomas, Andy Jolliffe, Ravis Stouts.
He started racing in 1992 in the Street
Stock Class at Wythe Raceway because his Dad raced and Duke thought he
would be good at it. His first win was that same year. Career
highlights include 1997 Enduro Track Championship at Kingsport Speedway in
TN, 1997 Enduro Champion at Wythe Raceway, 1998 Modified Street Champion
at Wythe Raceway, 2000 Street Stock Champion at Lonesome Pine Speedway,
2003 Street Stock Champion at Wythe Raceway, 2004 Street Stock Champion at
Wythe Raceway and Contingency Connection (Mr. Gasket 1 Hurst Shifters)
Champion.

proud of 69 wins.
