Michael Martin drives the #55 Super Stock 4 Class car.  His home track is Cherokee Super Speedway.  He lives in Blacksburg, SC.

Team members helping Michael are:  Ricky Rice, Kevin Tessner, Kelly Hamrick, Joseph Miutz, Dennis Sanders Sr., Dennis Sanders Jr. and Chad Tessner.  Dennis Sanders is the car owner.

Michael started racing in 1994 in the Go Carts class at Southern Pine because the family had always raced and he wanted to race.  His first win was in 1998 in the Go-Carts Class at Southern Pine.  Career highlights include winning 2 big Go Cart Races in 1998 and 1999.

The thrill of racing for Michael is the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was when he won his first race.  He's most proud of winning.

Michael's racing hero is Kevin Tessner #45.
