Waylon Flynn drives the #6 Mini Stock and
Pro-Cup Class car. He lives in Newton, NC. His home track is
Hickory Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Tri-County Motor
Speedway and Cherokee Speedway.
He started racing in 1993 in the 4 Cyl
Bomber Class at Orlando Speedworld. His first win was that same
year. Career highlights include: 2003 - Mini Stock Track
Champion at Tri-County Motor Speedway, 2003 - Mini-Stock Track Champion at
Hickory Motor Speedway, 2003 - 11 wins Mini-Stock and 8 wins Pro-Cup.
The thrill of racing for Waylon is the
competition. He's most proud of winning the 100 lap race at Caraway
Speedway (2001), winning Rookie 4 World Four Cylinder Nationals at Thunder
Valley Speedway.
Gary Balough is Waylon's racing hero.
