Brian Kay

Brian Kay drives the #71 Super Stock 4 Cyl Class car.  He lives in Williamston, SC.  His home track is Lavonia and Cherokee Speedway but he can also be found racing at Thunder Valley Speedway and Riverside Speedway and Toccoa Motor Speedway.

He started racing in 1998 in the Stock Heavy Class at Hodges Kartway as it was a family tradition.  His first win was in 2000 in the Stock Heavy Class at Carnesville Speedway "Go Karts".  In 2001 Brian was 2nd in the Points at Anderson Speedway in the Modified 4 Class.

The thrill of racing for Brian is the love of racing of any kind and the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was making the Main Event in 2002 World Crown 4 Cyl race and winning at Carnesville Speedway.  He's most proud of making the Main Event in the 2002 World Crown 4 Cyl Race.

Tony Stewart is Brian's racing hero.
