Shawn Penwarden drives the #777 Street Stock 4 Class car.  His home track is East Lincoln Speedway but he can also be found racing at Thunder Valley Speedway and Cherokee Super Speedway.  He lives in Maiden, NC.

Team members helping Shawn are:  Joe Fricano, Pechi Fioramanti, Doug Letson, Vernon Skidmore.  Shawn Penwarden and Stephanie Smith are the car owners.

Shawn started racing in 2005 in the Street Stock 4 Class at East Lincoln Speedway because he always wanted to try it.  Career highlights include finishing 2nd in his 2nd race.

The thrill of racing for Shawn is running up front.  His most exciting racing moment was crashing.  He's most proud of doing all the work himself.

Shawn's racing hero is Cale Yarborough.

Of racing, Shawn says, "It's harder than it looks!".
