Ronny Lyles drives the #8 Limited Sportsman Class car. He live in Marion, Virginia. His home track is Wythe Raceway, but he can also be found racing at Bulls Gap-Antioch.

Crew members and others who have helped include, April Lyles, Daniel Lyles, Franklin Shumate, Duke Bane, Danny Bland, Dessa Lyles and  R. Shumate.

He began racing in 1999 in Mini Truck , Street Stock and Late Model cars, because he liked the excitement. His first win was in 2000 in Mini Stock Class at Wythe Raceway. Career highlights include, most wins in Street Stock Class 2004.

The thrill of racing for  Ronny is winning. His most exciting racing moment was running 2nd to his son. He is most proud of his Street Stock wins.
