Noel is from Mt. Airy NC. 311 speedway is his home track. He began racin Late Models in 1999 at Friendship Speedway. He had worked on race cars for 10 years and decided to give it a try.  He won his first race in 2000 in a Late Model at Friendship Speedway.

Noel won the track championship his second season.

"The rush you get going into the corner." is the thrill of racing for Noel.  Noel is proud of," trying to race people clean because it cost too much when you tear them up."

He likes all the racers and they are all his heros.
