Clint Elkins

Clint is from Lincolnton NC. Thunder Valley is his home track. He began racing in 1996. He started because he had always been involved in racing and this was a natural progression. He first ran a UMP modified at Cherokee. He got his first win in his rookie year at Cherokee speedway  in the mod.

Clint was the UMP modified track champion at Cherokee in 1997. He also won the NC state championship. In 2000 he won the the Annual Shrine 100 at Chester speedway. He also won the Turkey 100 at Sumter speedway. Clint has 30+ wins at 8 different tracks.

The years of winning thrills Clint. All aspects of the speed thrills him.  He is most proud of winning at 8 different tracks.

Dale Earnhardt  and Alan Kuwlicki is his favorite driver.
