Scott races out of Blacksburg SC. Cherokee Super Speedway is his home track and he also races at Thunder Valley. Scott began racing in 1992 in a Mod 4 at Cherokee speedway.  His cousin Kevin is a race car driver and he got him to try it.

Scott got his first win in 1994 in a pure stock at Cherokee.  He was the Pure stock track Champion in 1995 and the Mod 4 Champ in 1996. In 1997 he won the World 4 cyl national championship.

The thrill of racing for Scott is "the speed that Cherokee speedway has to offer." Winning the World 4 cyl championship was his greatest racing thrill and moment.
