Buddy is from Inman SC. his home track is Cherokee Speedway and he also races at Thunder Valley Speedway, I-20, Lavonia, and Smoky Mt.  www.4m.net is Buddy's favorite web site. Buddy began racing in 1988 in a pure stock at Cherokee speedway. He started because he loved the challenge and the excitement.

Buddy got his first win at Cherokee in a pure stock his rookie year.  he has won 50+ races in different classes. 2001 was his first year in Late models.

The thrill of racing for Buddy is the speed and the competitiveness . He just loves it. His greatest racing thrill was the first time he drove a late model.

Buddy was partially paralyzed in a car accident in 1990. Getting back in a race car after he got hurt and winning is his greatest racing moment.

Mike Duvall  got him started in late model and is his racing hero.
