James Jameson drives the #1J Super Stock 4 Class car.  His home track is Cherokee Super Speedway but he can also be found racing at Harris Motor Speedway and Thunder Valley Speedway.  He lives in Cowpens, SC.

Team members helping James are:  Tammy Jameson, James McFalls, Terry and Laura Mc Falls, Ronnie Poole, Kevin Young.  James and Tammy Jameson are the car owners.

James started racing in 1989 in the Stock 4 Class at Cherokee Super Speedway because he enjoyed the speed.  He had raced Go Karts for several years.  His first win was in 1997 in the Stock 4 Class at Cherokee Super Speedway.  Career highlights include 2002 Independence Shootout Street Stock 4 winner at Cherokee Super Speedway, 5 time winner in Stock 4 over the years.

The thrill of racing for James is the competition and the speed.  His most exciting racing moment was his first lap in a Stock car.  He's most proud of his first win.

James's racing hero is Fulmer Lance.
