Chris Holmes drives the #5 Super Stock 4 Class car.  His home track is Cherokee Super Speedway but can also be found racing at Harris Speedway.  He lives in Gaffney, SC.

Team  members helping Chris are:  Mike Ledford, Danny Holmes, Kevin Carter, Ernie Foster, Mike Elliot, Tara Lambert, Christie Ledford. 

Chris started racing in 1999 in the Rookie 4 Class at Cherokee Super Speedway and Buffalo Speedway because he'd always been a racing fan.  His first win was in 2000 in the Rookie 4 Class at Cherokee Super Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Chris is the speed.  It's a sport you can compete in long after football and baseball is over.  His most exciting racing moment is any win.  He's most proud of starting on the Pole for World Crown 4 Cyl Nationals and being respected in the pits.

Chris's racing hero is Mike Duvall.
