Shannon Oursbourn

Shannon Oursbourn drives the Sixgun Rookie Class car.  He lives in Gaffney, SC.  His home track is Cherokee Speedway.  Shannon's Sixgun car is the white with yellow writing Ford Mustang 2300.

Shannon started racing in 1999 in the Rookie Class at Cherokee Speedway because he enjoyed the challenge and enjoyed driving fast.  His first win was in 2001 in the Rookie Class at Harris Speedway.  

The thrill of racing for Shannon is the speed, the challenge and being able to handle any condition.  He's most proud of conquering a win at Cherokee Speedway.

Of racing, Shannon can be heard saying, " That's okay, I'll be back next week!".
