Chris Jackson drives the #ss3 Limited Sportsman Class car.  His home track is Cherokee Super Speedway.  He lives in Rutherford, NC.

Car owners are Jerry Scruggs Sr. and Jerry Scruggs Jr.

He started racing in 1996 in the Limited Sportsman Class at Harris Motor Speedway as a family tradition.  His first win was his 3rd race in 1996 in the Limited Sportsman Class at Harris Motor Speedway.  Career highlights include Points Champion three years in a row, 24 wins in 1999, and for the past 3 years have won the big races in the Limited Sportsman Class.

The thrill of racing for Chris is the adrenaline rush.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win at Cherokee Super Speedway in 2005 Day Race.  He's most proud of  his domination.

Chris's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Chris says, "Just remember why you are doing it.  And, "if you touch mine, I'm durn sure going to touch yours".  I will always race you clean!".
