Chris Pridgen

Chris Pridgen drives the Street Class car.  His home track is Darlington Dragway but he can also be found racing on Country Roads!  He lives in Florence, SC.

Team members helping Chris are:  Jamie Pridgen who is Chris's brother, main man, Crew Chief, Mechanic and biggest support.  Jamie and Chris Pridgen are the car owners.

Chris started racing in 2006 in the Street Class at Darlington Dragway because he loves cars and there is no better smell than nitrous and no better thrill than to driver over 100 mph.  Career highlights are just doing it for the fun.

The thrill of racing for Chris is that he can do something like his Dad, who passed away but he always rides shotgun with Chris.  He's most proud of his car the better it does.

Chris's racing heroes are his Dad's cousins, Nathan Pridgen and Ashton Pridgen.

Of racing, Chris says, "Do it, but you had better have a big set of wrenches!".
