James
Freeman
James is from Westville, SC. He
started racing in 1997 at the Jefferson/Pageland track. He says he
has "always been in racing".
James celebrated his first win in 1998 in
the Sportsman class at the Jefferson/Pageland track. In 2001, he was
the Sportman Champion of the Jefferson/Pageland track.
The thrill of racing for James is
"the first 60 feet". His most exhilarating moment came
"the night I won the championship by just a few points over Buddy
Plyler."
He is most proud the make of car he
drives: "Anyone can build a Ford or Chevy; no one ever builds
an Olds."
