Federico Melendez

Federico is from Shaw AFB in Sumter, SC.  He started dragging in 1993 in the Factory class because he loves cars and speed.

He celebrated his first win in 1995 in the Factory class at Carolina Track.

The thrill of racing for you is seeing what you created, racing.  His most exhilarating racing moment came with his first win.

He can be heard around the track saying:  "Do it safe".
