Wesley "Mojo" Cornell

Wesley Cornell drives the #12 Street Stock Class car.  His home track is Summerville Speedway but he can also be found racing at Florence Motor Speedway, Dillon Motor Speedway and Myrtle Beach Speedway.  He lives in Holly Hill, SC.

Team members helping Wesley are:  Bryan Vest, John Cornell, Eric Green, Brad Hill, John Cornell Jr.  John Cornell and Bryan Vest are the car owners.

Wesley started racing in 1996 in the Go Karts class at Ridgeville Speedway because his Dad raced while Wesley was growing up.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 2 WKA Championships, 10 straight wins at Summerville Speedway, won 2005 Fall Classic at Florence Motor Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Wesley is winning.  His most exciting racing moment was a race at Summerville Speedway when he had to come from the back of the field five times in a field of 20 cars and won the race!  He's most proud of winning the Fall Classic at Florence Motor Speedway.

Wesley's racing hero is his Dad, John Cornell Sr.
