Russ Turner Jr. drives the #1 Young Guns Class car.  His home track is Florence Motor Speedway.  He lives in Timmonsville, SC.

Team members helping Russ are:  Granddaddy Russell, Uncle Landon, Momma, Daddy, Cody, Mr. Harold, Stevie, OH Joe, Chippy & Dana and all the people that support him.  Special thanks to Danny Johnson.  Russell Turner is the car owner.

Russ started racing in 2007 in the Young Guns class at Florence Motor Speedway because it is something he's always wanted to do.  His first win was that same year. 

The thrill of racing for Russ is going fast and the competitive racing.  His most exciting racing moment was his first spin and his first win.  He's most proud of when he started last and finishing 2nd in his first race.

Russ's racing heroes are Mr. Jr. Johnson and the late Frank Sessoms.
