Danny Efland drives the #29 Late Model Class car.  His home track is Florence Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Anderson Motor Speedway and Myrtle Beach Speedway.  He lives in Irmo, SC.

Danny started racing in 1994 in the Mini-Wedge Class at Columbia Speedway because his Dad raced and Danny went with him all the time.  It was only natural that he would love racing too.  His first win was in 1997 in the Go Kart Class at I-20 Speedway.  Career highlights include '99 - 4 National WKA Championships, 4 State WKA Championships, WKA Triple Crown winner, Grand National Champion, Holley "Future Star" Award, 2000 - 1 National WKA Championship, 3 State WKA Championships, 2002 - Pro 4 Mod Track Champion at Florence Motor Speedway, Rookie of the Year at FMS, 2003 - 8th place in UARA-Stars Touring Late Model Series, 2005 - 2 wins at FMS in Late Model, 2006 - 4 wins, 2 seconds in Late Model at FMS.

The thrill of racing for Danny is winning!  His most exciting racing moment was his first Late Model win.  He's most proud of winning the Pro 4 Mod Championship in 2002 and winning 4 Late Model races in 2006 so far.

Danny's racing heroes are his Dad and Dale Earnhardt.
