Bryan Blackwell drives the #38 Thunder & Lightning Class and the #37 Truck Class.  He lives in Florence, SC.  His home track is Myrtle Beach Speedway.

He started racing in 1993 in the Late Model Class at Columbia Speedway because his family has always raced.  His first win was in 1995 in the Hobby Stock Class at Laurens Speedway.  Career highlights include 1993 Rookie of the Year at Columbia Speedway, 2 time Track Champion at Florence Motor Speedway and 2003 Truck Series Rookie of the Year at Myrtle Beach Speedway.
