Ricky races Chargers out or Darlington SC. Florence Motor Speedway is his home track. He also races at Summerville speedway.  He began racing because his father raced all his life and he went every where with him every weekend. He loves racing. He started driving race cars in 1981 in Pure Stocks at FMS. Hew got his first win at FMS his rookie year.

Ricky was the 1987 Charger track champion. He repeated in 1988 and 1989 with about 100 wins.

The thrill of racing is the way it gets his blood pumping. He just loves to race.  He is most proud of his 3 track championships.
